I brought my camera to the ICE OUT protest in Salt Lake City, and this is what I saw.
What a powerful and emotional experience it is to stand with other Americans who are unafraid to call out the injustices by our own government which have been plaguing our country. I started to cry because I was so moved by the energy I felt there. I needed this reminder that we are all in this together and that we all have a voice.
It doesn't take a genius to recognize evil. It does, however, take courage to face it.
I choose to be on the right side of history.
